The architects from UNStudio have presented their most recent project: a single-family home in Stuttgart.

UNStudio, Haus am Weinberg, Germany
The single-family home designed by the UNStudio architects is located in the countryside on the outskirts of Stuttgart: it has views of the cityscape on one side and the terraced vineyard hillside on the other, with the volume and roofline of the villa responding to the site?s sloping landscape.

The home?s relationship with its location is essential for the architectural project, which you can experience inside the house looking outwards.

Inside, the central staircase twists up in the space and becomes the pulse that organises the flow between the various zones, the distribution of the utilities and organises the outside views.
Double heights, floor-to-ceiling windows, only four elements supporting the structure to give you an uninterrupted view?these were all choices that the UNStudio architects made to keep the confines between interior and exterior to a minimum, always giving the impression of blurred boundaries between inside and outside.
