
Hotels, accommodations and tourist facilities: here's a look at architecture and interior design projects presented recently in Floornature, a list to refer to when planning your holidays!

2112 metres above sea level in the Swiss Alps, Actescollectifs transformed an abandoned cable car station into a hotel which is only accessible on foot, the Chetzeron Hotel.

In Italy, for Expo Milano 2015 l'Hotel Excelsior Gallia came up with a new functional design planned by architect Marco Piva, who created “a Place“ linked with the city's areas of excellence (architecture, design, lifestyles and fashion), setting an example of style and elegance. A 17th century monastery in Gubbio was converted into a modern hotel with a wellness centre & spa featuring designer furnishings by the Maletti Group. And, finally, surfaces made of porcelain, a key material for wellness centres and accommodations.
