Tortona Centre for Small Business Technical ceramic granite and porcelain stoneware are used in the interiors of the service area and rooms adjacent to the dining area, as well as Galaxi porcelain stoneware from the Iris Porcellanato division and Imperial White technical ceramic granite made by Iris Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti.
The floors are made of the same materials but with different designs and finishes, while Cardisan porcelain stoneware is used in offices and meeting rooms and Blue Barracuda man-made granite appears in the coffee shops and halls and on the steps.
A variety of finishes, an ample range of colours and sizes, and of course durability and aesthetic value are the most important criteria leading the architects to choose these materials. The versatility and variety of Iris Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti and Iris Porcellanato materials made it possible to come up with different solutions in response to different performance requirements, permitting the architects to combine sobriety with excellent technical performance.
