Singapore Institute of Architects announces winners of the Architectural Design Awards 2020
The Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) recently published the list of winners of the 19th edition of the Architectural Design Awards 2020. The prizes are awarded to projects designed by SIA members divided into 6 categories and evaluated by a jury that selects the 20 Design Awards and the 11 Merit Awards, plus two special Buildings of the Year prizes which, for this 2020 edition went to the Jewel Changi Airport designed by Safdie Architects and the Sky Green tower designed by WOHA Architects.

Now the team has completed the first example of high-density, mixed-use sustainable architecture with landscaped facades for the developer Golden Jade with Feng Chia University in Taichung, Taiwan.

CTBUH’s list of outstanding skyscrapers
The list of skyscrapers presented with an Award of Excellence, the first step in the CTBUH 2019 Awards presented to the world’s best tall buildings by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, have been announced.

World Building of the Year Award 2018 goes to WOHA’s Kampung Admiralty building
The winners of the biggest prizes at the 2018 World Architecture Festival were announced at a gala dinner in Amsterdam concluding the festival on 30 November. The Kampung Admiralty mixed-use facility designed by WOHA and built in Singapore was named World Building of the Year 2018.

The Tall + Urban Innovation Conference is over, and the jury of the CTBUH 2018 Awards has announced the winners in each category. The overall winner is Woha’s Oasia Hotel Downtown in Singapore, named Best Tall Building Worldwide 2018.
