Agora Maximus, beyond tactical urbanism in Montreal
With the Agora Maximus project LAAB, a Canadian creative collective, together with Signature Design Communication (SDC), a multidisciplinary agency, proposed a temporary streetscape installation. Agora Maximus celebrates the seasonal pedestrianisation of Montreal's Saint-Denis Street with viewing platforms and vantage points that allow passersby admire the cityscape and its rich cultural offerings.

Moving Dunes, an installation by NÓS in Montreal
With Moving Dunes, the Canadian studio NÓS has designed an urban project in the centre of Montreal based on the concept of anamorphosis. This method revolves around a distorted projection requiring the viewer to occupy a specific vantage point, use special devices or both to view a recognizable image and here it animated their installation that they propose as an experiential mirage.

ADHOC architectes, Your Place at the Table, installation in Montreal
The team from ADHOC architectes is behind the project called Your Place at the Table!, which you can visit in Montreal until October. The installation in Hydro-Quebec park was conceived to allow Montrealers to reappropriate this public space while respecting the regulations laid down by public health officials.

18 Shades of Gay by Claude Cormier, 2020 RAIC Award of Excellence
The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP), and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CLSA) announced the 2020 National Urban Design Award winners, one of which is the landscape Claude Cormier with his work 18 Shades of Gay in the Urban Fragments category.
