MVRDV’s Ilot Queyries, living on a human scale in Bordeaux
Dutch architectural studio MVRDV completed Ilot Queyries, a residential building in Bordeaux, France, a few weeks ago. The courtyard construction featuring plenty of green space is part of a new neighbourhood consisting of four buildings designed by MVRDV with Joubert Architecture.

KCAP and Zecc Architecten design new Kade Noord residential complex in Zutphen
Dutch architectural firms KCAP and Zecc Architecten have completed the design for a new Kade Noord residential urbanisation in the Noorderhaven Zutphen development area, a town located about 30 km north-east of Arnhem. This sustainable district, conceived from the reconversion of an industrial area, develops around a large green courtyard inspired by the local landscape.

The new Triodos Bank building in Driebergen-Rijsenburg, in the Netherlands, designed by RAU Architects in partnership with Ex Interiors, has been described as a “cathedral of wood”: a sustainable building whose circular shape symbolises a dynamic balance between nature, culture and economics. This explicit reference to the circular economy and the core business of a bank committed to ethical finance characterises all aspects of the project, which uses natural, sustainable materials even in the furniture.
