Barbara Capocchin Prize exhibition
75 projects selected as finalists for the Barbara Capocchin Prize are on exhibit October 26 2011 through February 13 2012 Piazza Cavour in Padua, on the great “Architecture table” designed by Michele De Lucchi ### 1:7429:2:1:84573:paraExhibition of the winning projects and honourable mentions in each section of the Barbara Capocchin prize in Padua. The international section includes not only the winning project by architects Fabrizio Barozzi and Alberto Veiga, the new centre for promotion of “Ribera del Duero” D.O.C. wine in Roa, Spain, but other projects including Claudio Nardi’s Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow. The special prize for design of the details of construction went to Ryo Abe for the Shima Kitchen. The "Giancarlo Ius" gold medal for the most innovative energy-saving and environmentally sustainable project was presented to Jaime Magen’s Saragozza Environmental Department. The exhibition also includes a section focusing on the “provincial award”, presented to a family chapel designed by EXIT Architetti Associati.
