llLab. studio renovates Brickyard Retreat

Using local history to revitalise the region, not once, but twice. LLLab.'s project concerns a former tile factory near Beijing. The industrial building that had already been restored in 2010 as a hotel has now undergone a new makeover, boosting job opportunities and social development in the area.

Stage and natural show in Yangshuo

The Chinese design firm IILab. has completed the new architecture for the natural backdrop of the open-air theatre hosting the musical called “Impression of Liu Sanjie” in Yangshuo, Guilin, known for its stunning landscape. The bamboo constructions are environmentally-friendly and emphasise the connection with the context.
