Area 17-INRES: Redevelopment of Galleria R-Nord, Modena

Area 17 and INRES have redeveloped Galleria R-Nord in a ’70s housing development near the railway station in Modena. FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, Eiffelgress and Iris Ceramica made the floor and wall coverings inside and outside the shopping gallery.

Architectural practice Area-17 designed a store of this kind for Coop in Bicocca Village, on the basis of experimental concepts developed and presented by Carlo Ratti Associati in the Coop pavilion at Expo 2015, covering the surfaces with Iris Ceramica porcelain.
