Dabbagh Architects designs a mosque in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Dabbagh Architects, the studio led by principal architect and founder Sumaya Dabbagh, built a mosque dedicated to Mohamed Abdulkhaliq Gargash in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The place of worship, convincing in form, material qualities and use of daylight, is one of the first mosques designed by a female architect in the United Arab Emirates.

TRACES exhibition designed by KANVA studio in the Canadian Pavilion at World Expo 2020 Dubai

A poetic vision of an uncertain future and a stimulating reflection on our present: the TRACES art installation, designed by the Montreal-based KANVA firm inside the Canadian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, challenges visitors and raises awareness of the growing threat to ecosystems caused by climate change.
