New dates for the 2020 International Architecture Exhibition at La Biennale di Venezia

August 29 through November 29 are the new dates announced by Biennale di Venezia for the 17th International Architecture Exhibition, entitled "How will we live together?" and curated by architect Hashim Sarkis. The change is necessary to give institutions and architects from more than 60 countries all over the world time to complete the set-up of the pavilions and the international exhibition.

“How will we live together?”, the 17th International Architecture Exhibition curated by Hashim Sarkis and organised by Biennale di Venezia was presented to the press on 27 February, via streaming in view of the new coronavirus covid-19 and in the name of a form of architecture that unites us all. On this occasion Paolo Baratta announced that this would be his last day as chairman, handing over the organisation of the Biennale di Venezia to the new chairman, Roberto Cicutto.

Exhibition of projects submitted for the DAM Preis 2020 won by David Chipperfield Architects’ James Simon Galerie

Starting on 31 January 2020, Frankfurt’s DAM Deutsches Architekturmuseum hosts an exhibition about the projects entered for the DAM Preis 2020, a competition for the best architecture in Germany held since 2007. The winning project in 2020 is the James Simon Galerie in Berlin, designed by David Chipperfield Architects.
