The home and museum of Mariano Fortuny, an artist and designer who never ceases to amaze

The home and museum of Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo, an eclectic genius whose inventions in lighting, fashion, set design and interior design went down in early twentieth-century history, has reopened in Venice. Redesigned by Pier Luigi Pizzi, an architect and great master of theatre direction, Palazzo Fortuny once again reflects its owner’s spirit, suggesting a number of themes for study.

The art of ceramics is ready to face the challenges of the new millennium

Open until 15 April in the Iris Ceramica Group's Milan flagship store, the exhibition Ceramics: Neverending Artworks offers an opportunity to view a series of twenty-three ceramics designed by twelve great designers and artists. Triennale Milano, between new exhibitions and installations

From April 1, two new installations designed by two important masters of architecture, which have recently become part of the permanent collection of the Milanese institution, are on display in the Triennale Milano gardens, named after Giancarlo De Carlo: "Meuble Plus", a project for the support of refugees conceived by Yona Friedman and "Grande Milano", the chair designed by Italian architect Aldo Rossi in a 7:1 scale.

The university as an urban campus 9 examples for the Good Vibrations exhibition

University campuses and cities can coexist and benefit from their connections, according to the premise of an exhibition that opened on 18 March 2022 at Berlin’s Aedes Architecture Forum, "Good Vibrations - The university as an urban campus – Nine examples from Austria", casting light on nine projects in the Austrian cities of Vienna, Graz and Linz.

I FARNESE. Architettura, Arte, Potere exhibition in Parma

In Parma, a large exhibition explores the use of the arts as a tool for legitimising power through the works created between the 16th and 18th centuries and commissioned by the important Farnese family. The exhibition also saw an important commitment on the part of the Order of Architects of Parma, both as regards the thematic core dedicated to architecture, as well as in the promotion of initiatives that bring citizens closer to architecture such as the "FarneSiamo" programme aimed at young people.

Marco Zanuso e Alessandro Mendini Design e Architettura exhibition

On March 7 ADI Design Museum opened an exhibition comparing two key figures in Italian design, Marco Zanuso and Alessandro Mendini.
