Valencia is named European Green Capital 2024 and two cities share the title of European Green Leaf 2024
The winners of the European Green Capital 2024 and European Green Leaf 2024 awards were announced in a ceremony held at the end of October in Grenoble, France, this year’s European Green Capital. The Spanish city of Valencia will be European Green Capital in 2024, while the title of European Green Leaf 2024 has been jointly awarded to Elsinore, Denmark and Velenje, Slovenia.
