Winners and commendations for the 2020 Architekturpreis Beton, Germany

Architekturpreis Beton recognizes outstanding achievements in the use of concrete for architecture and is one of the most eagerly awaited awards to learn about the state of the art of German architecture. Since 2008, the Federal Association of the German Cement Industry has awarded the prize in collaboration with the German association of architects (BDA), and this year’s recipients are four equal-ranking winners and four commendations.

The five finalists for the 2019 EU Mies Award

The European Commission and Fundació Mies van der Rohe of Barcelona have announced the finalists competing for the 2019 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award. These five projects all have one thing in common: they offer multi-purpose spaces people can use freely and transform into places of different kinds.
