Studio Azzurro In Principio (e poi) at the Vatican Museum

The Studio Azzurro Room at the Vatican Museum was presented on September 28: a sensitive space featuring the interactive video installation In Principio (e poi) (“In the Beginning [and after]”) created by the famous artists’ collective using 4 of FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti’s MaxFine slabs.

Paulo Mendes da Rocha Royal Gold Medal 2017 RIBA

2016 was definitely a "golden year" for Brazilian architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha. The long list of awards presented to him over the course of his career, including the 2006 Pritzker Prize, grew longer with the addition of a Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, the Praemium Imperiale International Arts Award and now, the RIBA Royal Gold Medal.
