AREP’s station and new multimodal pole in Rennes

The new station and multimodal pole in Rennes looks like a big cloud of light seeming to rest on the built landscape, providing a gateway to the French region of Brittany. The project by architectural studio AREP, developed with the structural designers of MAP3 and with SNCF Gares & Connexions, serves as a meeting-point for different urban and extra-urban transportation lines with pedestrian and bicycle paths, connecting the north and south of the city of Rennes.

The Casa-Port station designed by architectural firms AREP and Groupe3 Architectes in Casablanca is part of the general modernization of the infrastructure network of Morocco spearheaded by King Mohammed VI. The strong points of the initiative include the "winged horse" Al-Boraq high-speed line that will connect Casablanca and Tangeri, and the large Tangeri-Med port hub, projects that contribute to increasing the African country’s role as a bridge to Europe.
