Sazka Arena - Prague
2004 - Helika Prague

Restaurants, Bar, Sport & Wellness,

It took only 19 months to build one of Europe's most modern, functional stadiums in Prague: Sazka Arena. Work began in September 2002, and the first game was played in the arena in March 2004.

Sazka Arena - Prague<br> 2004 - Helika Prague The restaurant, bar and service area interiors are finished with natural and man-made stone and with ceramic tiles in places.
Rapid setting products and special cement adhesives with zero slip were used to speed up the laying process. Special attention was paid to waterproofing of patios and swimming pool areas, using an elastic cement mortar, while a quick-drying liquid membrane was used in the interiors.
The arena's essential design marks a milestone in the history of sports facilities, with its huge size and versatility of use. The arena was built under a policy of urban decentralisation which will see the construction of large multifunctional facilities in outlying parts of big cities.
For the arena is located in a suburb to the north of Prague and is more than just a sports centre, but a meeting place and a location for cultural events as well.
