Royal Infirmary of Glasgow The 2500 m2 area is rectangular in shape, with a reception desk for visitors and patients in the middle made with stainless steel finishes and LED lights to give it a more welcoming feel. A big photographic mural covers the wall facing the main entrance, in place of the original brick wall.
The goal of all the work was to create a welcoming atmosphere in which every element conveys a sensation of comfort and wellbeing.
The flooring had to help create a luminous feel while at the same time meeting very strict technical standards.
This is why the choice fell on slabs of Crema Marfil Select, made by Iris Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, a company recently certified by ANAB IBO and IBN for bioarchitecture, confirming its leadership in the manufacture of environmentally sound flooring materials.
The flooring is simple and linear, varied only by the continuous veins in the slabs.
