Renovation of Istituto Salesiano in Lanuvio Istituto Salesiano di Lanuvio is an architectural complex in the old centre of Genzano di Roma dating back to the late nineteenth century. It incorporates a number of buildings which were originally a church, oratory, cinema, convent/seminary, school, etc.
The complex was recently the focus of an architectural renovation project with the goal of urban and functional renewal. The institute was transformed into a holiday home offering accommodations for members, students and alumni and religious pilgrims.
The work, under the direction of Studio Carrino Conti Architetti Associati, started with the school building and then went on to the cinema and outdoor areas.
