The complex also incorporates offices, shops and restaurants, as well as an information centre where visitors may obtain information on cultural events and technological development all over the world.
The complex is formed of seven main structures, with a total surface area of about 145,000 square metres, on a triangular three-hectare site.

Vi?oly and his assistants viewed the programme as a composite set of equivalent elements with no formal hierarchy. The spatial organisation of the volumes is developed along its eastern and western borders, while a pedestrian area, conceived as a protected garden, cuts the site in half diagonally, along the north-south axis.
