Presented as a Fuorisalone 2014 event, the exhibition Together. Le Nuove Comunità in Africa opened on February 7th at FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti and Iris Ceramica’s gallery in Milan, now operated by Floornature staff.
The exhibition curated by Luca Molinari includes selected projects by four important African architectural practices, presented in Italy for the first time: Noero Architects, Wolff Architects, ASA studio and NLÉ.
The opening was attended by architects Nerea Amorós Elorduy and Tomà Berlanda of ASA-Active Social Architecture, an architectural practice established in 2012 in Kigali, Rwanda, and architect Heinrich Wolff, who became the first South African architect to exhibit at the main exhibition in the Biennale in Venice in 2010.
Architects and visitors participated in the installation designed by Floornature for the outdoor area at SpazioFMGperl'Architettura by posing for fun snapshots on the famous hammocks!
