In view of the provisions of this document, contestants who registered on the www.floornature.com/nextlandmark/contest online platform are provided with the following information:

Dear contestant,
We wish to inform you that Legislative Decree no.196 of June 30, 2003 (Personal data protection code) and EU Regulation 2016/679 apply to protection of the personal data of persons and other data subjects.
In accordance with the legislation, data processing will be based on principles of correctness, lawfulness, pertinence and transparency, protecting your confidentiality and your rights.
Under art.13 of the decree, we wish to provide you with the following information:

Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of participation in the contest described in the document entitled “Contest announcement” and for promotion of the contestant’s professional image.
The data will be processed by the following methods: processing with electronic tools and information systems.

  1. Types of data processed:

At the time of registration, contestants will be asked to provide their particulars, e-mail address, telephone number, profession, country of origin and diploma.

  1. Nature of data conferral:

Your data will be processed lawfully under art. 6, paragraph 1, letter B of EU Regulation 2016/679 on Data Protection.

  1. Duration of data processing:

Your data will be processed for the duration of the contest and for a period of time sufficient for and consistent with the goal of promoting the contestant’s career. The data will be checked periodically for obsolescence.

  1. Data processing tools and logic:

In view of the purposes of data processing set forth herein, data will be processed using manual methods, information systems and computerised systems, on the basis of logic strictly connected with the purposes specified above, and, in all cases, in such a way as to guarantee data security and confidentiality.

  1. Categories of recipients who may be made aware of your data:

Members of the jury, other persons collaborating in the implementation of the project or providing support for it (such as Iris Ceramica Group companies, specialists in the field, IT consultants). Consultants work as specifically appointed External Data Processors. Other recipients of your data include newsletter subscribers, recipients of advertising materials, and users of the Group’s web sites.

  1. Refusal to consent to data processing and right to object to processing of personal data:

Data subjects are entitled to refuse to provide personal data or oppose any form of data processing, but such refusal will make it entirely or partly impossible for them to participate in the contest. Moreover, refusal to receive the newsletter will make it impossible for contestants to find out the results of the contest and therefore to find out if they have won. Refusal to receive the newsletter will therefore make it impossible for you to enter the contest.
You may, in any case, object to processing of your personal data by contacting the Data Controller using the contact information provided above.

  1. Data subjects’ rights:

You are entitled to ask the Data Controller to allow you to access your personal data, using the contact information provided above;
You are entitled to ask the Data Controller to correct / delete / limit use of your personal data, using the contact information provided above;
You are entitled to inform the Data Controller that you object to processing of your personal information, using the contact information provided above;
You are entitled to request and receive a complete list of data processors (internal and external), using the contact information provided above.
All the rights listed above may also be exercised by contacting the undersigned company using the Data Controller’s contact information, provided above.
You are entitled to file a complaint with a controlling authority:

There are not automated decision-making processes or profiling processes under article 22, paragraphs 1 and 4 of European privacy regulation 2016/679.
