Mario Cucinella's project for iGuzzini is part of the lighting company's factory reorganisation and extension programme. At first, work concentrated on the Design Department building but the most interesting part was the headquarters.

This project features the attentive use of continuous facades, together with skylights and sunlight protection system. It was thus possible to fully exploit natural resources, give life to ecological solutions and also offer high levels of environmental comfort.
From light to water, from ground to air: in this project, too, Cucinella's architecture shows the "formalisation of man's way of living on the Earth" together with respect for the ecosystem. The display garden shows how technological research can combine with environmental respect to give life to solutions capable of valorising and enriching architecture.
