PIAM, the Matimex International Prize for Architecture (Premio Internacional de Arquitectura Matimex), is the first event organised by MAE, the Matimex showroom that opened recently in Spain. The contest is open to professionals and students in the fields of architecture and interior design all over the world who use the Fiandre Iris Ceramica Group’s ceramic materials in a design for a hotel or a part thereof. The contest has two categories, one for professionals (architects, designers, interior designers, engineers) and one for students (of architecture, design and interior design). Entrants may participate alone or in multidisciplinary groups of up to five people, with built projects or plans. The registration deadline is June 30, and entries must be submitted by August 31 2015 directly online through the contest website, http://www.premiosmatimex.es/.
