Le Casino du Tréport In the beautiful resort town of Le Treport in Normandy, famous for its long expanse of beach and magnificent chalk cliffs, the fully renovated restaurant of the renowned Casino du Treport opened in 2002.
Mr. Guivarch, casino manager at the time, personally supervised the work.
The floor of the theme bar-restaurant in warm, bright hues matching the interior furnishings is made of materials by Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti.
Man-made Persiano Rosso travertine in the 40x40, 40x20 and 20x20 cm forms with a polished finish created specifically for the project is combined with 5x5 cm Verde Guatemala tiles from the Marbles collection.
The entire perimeter of the restaurant is outlined with stripes separating the bar from the restaurant area, created using jet of water under high pressure.
Casino du Treport is a major tourist attraction, open year-round and offering a vast choice of leisure activities.
The resort offers play, entertainment and good food in a dream-like atmosphere perfect for relaxing and enjoying oneself.
As well as its prestigious restaurant, the casino offers a number of playing areas, a billiard room, bowling lanes and a large cinema.
Opened in 1897, Casino du Treport was purchased in 1989 by the Guivarch family, who gave the casino new life and made it one of the most prominent of its kind.
Since February 2003 it has been owned by the Moliflor Loisirs group, which owns twenty or so casinos all over France and employs 1350 people, making it the second largest group in France in terms of number of facilities, the fourth by turnover.
