The architect, who has been studying bio-ecological architecture for many years, based the project around the idea of creating a space where the sun and natural colours and light would create a sort of continuity between indoors and outdoors.
The main public areas for hotel guests are carpeted with Azul Boquira man-made marble with distinctive decorations in warm hues such as Persiano Giallo and Persiano Rosso man-made travertine with Arabescato Grigio and Perlato di Sicilia man-made marble.
The selected flooring materials from Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti have a polished finish to create the desired effect of radiance and recreate the blue of the sky and the lake, with sunny inserts.
In addition to their aesthetic qualities, the selected materials meet all the requirements for high traffic areas, as demonstrated by their use in many shopping centres and other much-travelled areas.
Special pieces were produced by Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti's design office, helping make the architect's ideas come to life.
