Hotel Aquila d'oro Business and leisure: this is the winning combination favoured by Hotel Aquila d'oro in Chiusa, Alto Adige, the "artists town" depicted in an engraving by Albrecht Dürer.
A four-star hotel offering spacious rooms and luxurious suites, large conference halls and a fully equipped wellness centre.
At any time of year, the hotel is the ideal point of departure for exploring the Isarco Valley, a small but lovely region in the southern Tyrol which is only a stone's throw from well-known ski resorts such as the Gardena Valley and offers a wealth of artistic attractions and historical buildings dating from different ages.
In his plans for renovation of Hotel Aquila d'oro, architect Otto Obexer of Bolzano kept this local identity in mind, respecting the town's original style even while employing the latest construction technologies and materials.
