GranitiFiandre opens a new showroom for Maximum tiles

Architects Lukasz Zagala and Przemo Lukasik of medusagroup were commissioned by GranitiFiandre to design a new space exclusively for displaying the new Maximum extra-large tiles.
The exceptional size of Maximum tiles, 300x150 cm, meaning a surface area of 4.5 square metres per tile with a thickness of only 6 mm, inspired the architects to do more with the tiles than just cover surfaces.
In the GranitiFiandre space inaugurated on May 9, Lukasz Zagala and Przemo Lukasik created a "dynamic floating object" which generates different points of view with a shape recalling the prism of the company?s logo surrounded by all the products in the Maximum collection.
The central structure also permits observation of the huge size of the tiles from above, while a separate part of the showroom contains a place where architects and clients can meet to discuss the potential of the material and experiment with new combinations of tiles, colours and sizes.
