The book “Giovanna Talocci – designer”, edited by Anty Pansera with Domitilla Dardi, was presented on February 17 at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
The recently published book “Giovanna Talocci – designer” was presented on February 17 at Triennale di Milano in the presence of the authors and the designer.
The book, a monograph published by Quodlibet and edited by Anty Pansera in collaboration with Domitilla Dardi, has been described as “rather like a log book ” recording the designer’s career.
It is not so much a “monograph as a “choir of voices ” of scientific and documentary significance; an all-round vision of the figure of the designer, encompassing not only her projects but the human and professional encounters underlying her profession. The book begins with a critical introduction by Anty Pansera, a long interview with Giovanna Talocci broken up by presentations of the designer’s most significant products and recollections of her friends and colleagues. Domitilla Dardi edited the in-depth information sheets on the designer’s most significant products . Giovanna Talocci has worked with prominent design firms such as Teuco, Guzzini, Poltrona Frau, Effegibi and Foppapedretti. The volume is completed by plenty of illustrations of products made since 1973.
