Fokus Stuttgart photography exhibition in Stuttgart

Stuttgart is famous as thecity of architects, with the Weissenhof area, created in 1927, a manifesto of the modernist movement, with architecture by Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier, to name just a few.
But Stuttgart is much more than this, and the“fokus stuttgart” exhibition aims to focus on those corners and lesser known places that tell the story of everyday life.

The exhibition also has another aim: to give the photographers involved, including famous names likeRobert Halbe, the possibility to express their poetic qualities. It is an unusual opportunity in the field of architecture photography, usually dedicated to portraying what is seen or what the architect wants to be seen.
The “fokus stuttgart” exhibition in the “architekturgalerie am weißenhof” is on until 5th October 2014.
It is an incentive to visit the city, or to stop off during a journey to or from your holidays.
A publication, edited by Kyra Bullert and Christian Holl, accompanies the exhibition.
