Fireworks Dublin Fireworks opened in 2000 as a bar / night-club. Located within the original Victorian iron and brick structure of the former Tara St. Fire station the building is full of history and character and remains one of the top night spots in Dublin. The entire building now has a preservation order.
The six stories have been converted into a three story venue with each floor "hanging" on central supports from the main feature staircase.
The ground floor is a designated pool bar up to 10 p.m each evening, with custom made pool covers that close off the tables at night to become poser drink stands when the venue becomes a club. The second floor is a designated dance floor and the top floor is a laid-back lounge bar area.

The floor has been specially designed by Mary Hennessy of TileStyle to reflect a modern industrial feeling. Using GranitiFiandre Black Galaxy and Rockwell White semi matt porcelain in 300x300 alternating, special water jet cuts have been introduced to incorporate glass inserts. The polished mosaic version has also been used in rows, this catches the lights and gives a real interesting and unusual depth.
The durability of GranitiFiandre will have no trouble standing up to the 2000 strong capacity that flock to bop the night away.
