Farmacia d'Atri The basic idea underlying the project was conservation and enhancement of the old spaces, making the pharmacy into a gallery of shops specialising in various areas: cosmetics, health aids, medicines, homeopathic products, herbal medicine, baby care, footwear and orthopaedics, eyewear.
To make the entrance even more attractive, the architects have chosen bright pastel colours for the walls and floor and for the finishes and fixtures.
The choice of finishing materials played an important role in the project, and had to respond to a number of needs: resistance to wear, practical maintenance, particular brightness on the underground level, elegance of style and a wide range of cuts and colours to produce the designs that appear in various spaces and along shoppers' routes.
These needs led to the choice of manufactured marble and travertine from IRIS Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti : the background is made of Navona, while the designs and inserts have been given different colours and formats using Persiano Rosso to identify all products on display on the lower level, Persiano Giallo for all baby care products, Persiano Rosa for cosmetics and Azul Cielo for pharmaceuticals, as light blue has always been the colour used in the pharmacy's logo.
