FAB One Night Luigi Bussolati The skin of the world

At 18:30 on June 9, FAB Architectural Bureau Milano hosts the one night event “Luigi Bussolati: The Skin of the World. Photography as an exercise in seeing, from Bach to Instagram”.
After the first one night event focusing on editorial communications, photography is the theme of the second one night event the Floornature team has organised for the Fiandre and Porcelaingres brands’ exhibition space in Milan. Fiandre maxi ceramic slabs become the ideal substrate for a series of images with high visual and conceptual impact in an artistic installation of photographs entitled "Skin of the World" series by Luigi Bussolati.

The photos, on exhibit in public for the first time, and the process of study behind them offer an opportunity to explore and talk about the relationship between digital photography and Instagram, touching on copyright issues and therefore the use/abuse of images in the age of social media and Instagram. The discussion, mediated by Paolo Schianchi, curator of the series of events, will also see the participation of photographer Luigi Bussolati and Pamela Campaner, co-founder of Expowall: a digital project for Expo 2015 which created a live wall of amateur and professional photographs taken by visitors to the world’s fair. The live wall is still visible in the gallery of the same name, documenting the new faces of the city.
