The “H2O, new scenarios for survival” project will be at Acaya Castle in Lecce March 12 through September 30 with a series of exhibitions, meetings and performances contributing to reflection and discussion focusing on water issues.

Exhibition: H2O, new scenarios for survival The goal of the H2O, new scenarios for survival project is contributing to reflection and discussion around the issue of water, specifically by promoting dialogue with other Mediterranean countries. The initiative includes a packed calendar of events, initiatives and performances focusing on the theme of water as well as meetings with architects (Riccardo Dalisi, Massimo Iosa Ghini), businesspeople, academics and people who work to achieve sustainable development. The travelling exhibition H2O, new scenarios for survival includes 160 original projects by architects, designers and graphic artists such as Aldo Cibic, Alessandro Mendini and Patricia Urquiola, to mention only a few. It includes architectural illustrations, designer products, prototypes and material for visual communications focusing on the theme of water, with solutions involving land, environment and sustainability. At the same time the exhibition Aquatecture will include plans for water centres presented by architects and designers who have taken into consideration the issue of public water distribution.
