Interior design inspired by a homely atmosphere, with recycled material, exhibitions and a cup of tea with friends: this is what makes this 100% local hairdresser’s salon unconventional.

E.CUT interior design by Studio AFA

Created in Parma, by Studio AFA, E.CUT is a hairdresser’s salon where attention has been paid to the very smallest details of interior design: from its contents to its psychology, interaction and colours.

The project involved restyling the salon in order to make it less of a conventional workspace. Warm shades and an abundant use of wood were employed to make the atmosphere more welcoming.
The materials used were all recycled or raw materials and made to measure by specialised artisans; therefore the design is 100% local.

E.CUT is also a convivial space with an open mind-set: people often pop in for a cup of tea with the owners or to see the exhibitions held in the salon.
