Do ut Do 2014 exhibition: Design for Hospices at MAMbo in Bologna
MAMbo Museo d'Arte Moderna di Bologna hosts an exhibition entitled "Do ut Do" focusing on excellence in international design.
The exhibition is the most recent in a series of events offering an opportunity to admire works donated by well-known architects and designers including strong> Mario Botta, Sandro Chia, Michele De Lucchi, Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, Massimo Iosa Ghini, Daniel Libeskind, Antonio Marras, Alessandro Mendini, Mario Nanni, Jean Nouvel, Luigi Ontani, Mimmo Paladino, Ettore Sottsass and Philippe Starck in support of the work of Fondazione Hospice Seràgnoli Onlus, a non-profit hospice foundation.
When the exhibition in the new multipurpose space entitled MAST Manifattura di Arti, Sperimentazione e Tecnologia di Bologna (MAST Factory of Arts, Experimentation and Technology) closes on October 24, the works will be presented to supporters who donated a minimum of 5,000 euro to the Foundation's work.
The funds thus collected will be used to operate three hospices present in the Bologna area. Hospices are facilities in which the foundation provides assistance for terminally ill patients and their families.
