Design Parade 7

Exhibitions, conferences, meetings and an international competition supporting young designers, this is what Design Parade is all about, an event created in 2004 and held at the Villa Noailles art center in Hyères â?? France. The Villa built in the 1920â??s by architect Robert Mallet-Stevens was once the residence of two leading French art patrons Charles and Marie-Laure de Noailles, in 2003 it became an art centre, promoting two festivals and is home to a permanent exhibition devoted to its two benefactors.

For the 7th edition of the Design Parade festival, the rooms of the Villa play host to various exhibitions, according to a tested formula which include: an exhibition of works of ten chosen designers and in competition for 2012, an exhibition of the winners of the 2011 edition, a monographic exhibition devoted to the designer François Azambourg chairman of the jury, exhibitions of projects created during student workshops, and together with a permanent collection at the Villa an exhibition of contemporary rugs by designerConstance Guisset.
