Clément Vergély / Joud & Vergély Architectes exhibition

The buildings constructed or just planned by the architectural practices of Clément Vergély and Joud & Vergély Architectes are presented in the form of models and drawings illustrating the themes the two architectural practices have both addressed in their work (situations, rationalités, continuités, interprétations).

Site and adaptation of plans to the construction site are the first step in any project (Situations).
"Rationalités" means study of the spatial layout and volumes of the structure, of a fluid distribution of paths in which elements may be identified and related to one another.
Continuités represents understanding and representation of the values present in the context in which the architects work in their project.
Interprétations demonstrates that a project’s identity lies in the architects’ ability to interpret a place, its architectural history and its spatial qualities. These elements are filtered by the architect’s own experience to give the space itself new meaning and produce new images.

A big iconographic table concludes the project and illustrates the reflections and elements that influenced the architects’ work in the project on display in a way that is easy for visitors to understand.
