Modern surfaces in stoneware porcelain use various designs to recreate natural wood, marble, concrete and metal.
Amongst all the possibilities, stone is one of the fundamental archetypes of man. The first tools, utensils and surfaces are inextricably linked to rocks and stones.Aesthetics in terms of the stone effect continues to be a fundamental element in contemporary design and architecture.
Over the years, Ariostea developed several types of flooring and cladding such as Pietre Naturali High-Tech, where "the warmth of stone floors, the strength of patented technology and Italian talent make every piece unique".
The manufactured stone is made up exclusively of natural raw materials and minerals that are transformed using a production process similar to the natural rock forming process, giving life to an extremely compact product, homogeneous in its entirety.
Thanks to the wide variety of colours, ranging from the clear textures of Limra, from Turkey to Ardesia Bordeaux from Brazil and Black Ardesia from Spain, many indoor and outdoor floor projects were carried out, both in Italy and abroad, with Ariostea high-tech tiles. Highly versatile, the porcelain stoneware slabs by Ariostea can be used in both public and commercial environments, and in small and large residential areas.
There are also several sizes available, ranging from the more traditional 30x30 cm (and relative multiples), to larger slabs; all sizes are 1-cm thick. Special items and mosaics are also available.
In six colour varieties (Pearl, Light Grey, Smoke, Taupe, Tobacco and Soft Black), seven formats and four possible thickness dimensions, Teknostone also features the large 300x100 cm format, manufactured with ULTRA tecnology, and designed to meet every style requirements. It is a "technological inspiration with its simple yet effective textures", thanks to an image that combines classical tradition and the performance that contemporary design products demand.
Designed for indoor and outdoor environments, Teknostone uses the CM2 solution for the outdoor areas: a 20-mm thickness to ensure maximum functionality outdoors.
This line is very easy to install, and makes it possible to inspect any utilities, including electrical and water systems, without difficulty; changes in the substrate can also be dealt with easily.
CM2 can also be installed on raised paving (on adjustable and fixed supports - there are different specifications, depending on the format); traditional installation on screed and dry installation on gravel, sand or grass can also be performed easily.
