Big tiles: suggestions for use

"Just Great" and "Great Metals" are highly effective, resistant big tiles from Porcelaingres suitable for use in all parts of the home.
Ceramic products made using innovative technical procedures, these porcelain tiles respond to a variety of aesthetic and functional design requirements. Let’s take a closer look.

Just Great is a collection of porcelain tiles of clear contemporary inspiration, in typical high-tech colours (Beige, Mid Grey, Super Black and Super White), available in sizes ranging from the classic 75x75 cm to the imposing 3x1.5 m.
Great Metals is designed on the basis of the same concept as Just Great: a new generation of sizes (3x1.5 and 75x37.5, only 6 mm thick) which is the product of ongoing research and advanced technology.
Great Metals expands the colour range with a series of hues based on the "aesthetic potential of the metalworking industry" (Oxidum, Zinc Titanium, Steel and White Iron).

The two collections are equal effective as floor and wall coverings indoors or outdoors.

As they are big tiles, their size is what makes them most attractive for use in architecture, encouraging architects’ creative vein.
To underline their practicality and potential applications, Porcelaingres has put big tiles to the test in its Castellarano showroom, underlining a number of practical aspects of their use.
Doors: large ceramic tiles are big enough to visually frame a door with a single tile. Moreover, they are very thin (6 mm), making them lightweight and therefore particularly suitable for use with sliding and swing doors.
Light: installing tiles on vertical panels as sunshades permits easy control of light, responding to numerous everyday requirements in offices and retail spaces. Their lightness also makes large tiles perfect for dividing up different spaces.
Kitchens: the kitchen is the space in the home requiring most frequent cleaning, and it is one of the most appropriate for surfaces made of porcelain: a material offering exceptional resistance, superior to that of natural stone.

Porcelaingres underlines the quality of maxi tiles with these practical examples, in which they are objects of design giving free rein to our creativity.
