The interior spaces are floored with Eiffelgres'' natural Pietralavica Chocolate, a sophisticated interpretation of the material that inspires them, in the 60x30 size; slabs of Samarcanda porcelain stoneware (natural and bush-hammered), also by Eiffelgres, faithfully reproduce the beauty of natural stone.
The double height of the ground floor is underlined by the superimposition of two volumes: one containing the reception area, bar, conference area, restaurants and wellness centre and another containing the hotel rooms.
The service wing to the southeast is characterised by a large open space for the restaurant from which the other parts of the building are visible. The five-storey parallelepiped volume above the service area, characterised by irregularly shaped windows, is occupied by the hotel rooms, all of which face east or west and are accessed via a central corridor.
The irregular arrangement of the windows gives the façade of the Blumenhotel a strong graphic look, and in fact the architects have chosen it for the cover of their book about this and other projects.
