The Werkstatt, London. A new creative space.

A workshop for designers and architects from all over the world, a place where they can get together and work their magic: “werkstatt” means workshop in German and that is precisely what this showcase for the Sto Group in Clerkenwell, London is all about.



Clerkenwell is the creative and cultural hub of modern London, the community that not surprisingly hosts Clerkenwell Design Week, which we’ll be reviewing in the near future.



Sto Group has opened the ‘Werkstatt’, a product exhibition and event space for international designers and architects in this lively creative hub. 



Werkstatt is the German word for workshop and the choice of this name underlines the creative collusion that forms part of the project. 



The space is located in one of the many old brickwork warehouses in the zone now converted into showrooms for leading fashion designers, architecture firms and trendy nightspots.



The Werkstatt opened to the public with the photography exhibition titled “Building Images - the world's best architectural photographers” organised with Arcaid and open until 25 April 2014.
