The Labirinto della Masone on show at the FAB space in Milan Entitled “Pier Carlo Bontempi: la provocazione più grande del mondo. Il labirinto di Franco Maria Ricci e altre architetture” (Pier Carlo Bontempi: the biggest provocation in the world. The maze of Franco Maria Ricci and other architecture) is opening in the FAB space in Milan on 12 November 2015, the first of a cycle of events that Floornature is organising with Graniti Fiandre around the work of the architect, Pier Carlo Bontempi.

Pier Carlo Bontempi is already known to our readers for the “Labirinto della Masone” (link), the maze created jointly with architect Davide Dutto on the property of publisher Franco Maria Ricci in Fontanellato, province of Parma.
This biggest hedge maze in the world covers an area of 8 hectares and you can get lost and found along 3 km of paths, amidst more than twenty thousand bamboo plants, a low environmental impact crop.

The preview of the exhibition “Pier Carlo Bontempi: la provocazione più grande del mondo. Il labirinto di Franco Maria Ricci e altre architetture” will be inaugurated in FAB Milan at 6.30 pm on Thursday 12 November 2015 and the main exhibition will open on 21 November at the FAB in Castellarano.

The eye-catching watercolours by Bontempi create a pleasant diversion in this period of rendering and digital design, one that makes you stop and study the architecture proposed in detail.

The presentation of the recent monography “Pier Carlo Bontempi. Architettura e Tradizione” (Pier Carlo Bontempi. Architecture and Tradition) published by Franco Maria Ricci will also take place on the evening of 12 November, and it will be followed by a conversation between Pier Carlo Bontempi, Paolo Schianchi, editor-in-chief of the Floornature architecture portal, Paolo Cavaglione, journalist, Edoardo Pepino, from Fondazione Franco Maria Ricci and Federica Minozzi, CEO of Graniti Fiandre.
The evening will end with a cooking show by the Bottega Spigaroli of Polesine Parmense for an enjoyable evening with friends.
