Terraza Timberland in Mexico City A roof with breath-taking views in Mexico City is just what Edoardo Gorozpe' A-001 Taller de Arquitectura needs to put into practice the URBANKETING® concept, where companies can use accountable andnon-invasive urban and city projects for their marketing purposes.

Terraza Timberland is an architectural and urbanistic operation crafted on the rooftop of the Timberland building, which also houses the HomeWork co-working facilities, all set in a magnificent position in front of the Plaza de la República and the Monumento a la Revolución in Mexico City.
The project is the result of a partnership between the Timberland clothing brand and a developer, Reman Holdings to create a new location for events in the area of the HomeWork facilities and ticked all the boxes to implement the URBANKETING® concept.
This concept was developed by studio A-001 Taller de Arquitectura that was appointed to coordinate and manage and construct the project that enables companies and brands to market their products through accountable and non-invasive urban interventions. A positive idea, as we can see in the images: what was formerly an unused space has now been turned into a multifunctional location for free time, including sport, entertainment, music and art.
After consolidating the flat roof, the architects from A-001 Taller de Arquitectura came up with an open plan, flexible space and selected materials in keeping with the spirit of Timberland - wood, metal, zinc plated roof panels.
So, Terraza Timberland provides plenty of opportunities for leisure but more importantly an unusual view across Mexico City crated as part of a new approach to urban planning. In this specific case, the URBANKETING® idea offers new glimpses of both the city and the transverse collaboration between a number of organisations for urban regeneration.
