Resort Bufi. Studio Veneziano+team.

Resort Bufi is the perfect example of how expert interior design of a historical building can give it a contemporary feel and comfort and make the most of its spectacular position on the waterfront.



Located practically right in the centre of Molfetta, Puglia, this resort is the perfect regenerating getaway.



The owners of an old palazzo decided to turn it into a resort, and put designers Gianni Veneziano and Luciana Di Virgilio from V+T, in charge of refurbishments.
The concept is based on a historical and contemporary combination, a principle reflected in the materials used and in the design approach .



The external facades were faithfully restored in line with local Puglia architecture and in harmony with the urban context.





Conversely, the interior alternates between the vernacular stone walls and walls that architect, Gianni Veneziano has covered in vast drawings. These can be considered “a pixel” frescoes of the digital era, processed graphically by means of digital mosaic.



All the rooms have breathtaking views over the sea.



It’s not always necessary to venture afar to find a relaxing alcove that does not seek to subdue everything around it but instead prefers elegant discretion.
