- Livegreenblog at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice
Livegreenblog will be in Venice in the run-up to the 14th International Architecture Exhibition, curated by Rem Koolhaas. The days of the preview give us an opportunity to meet architects from all over the world in person and we’ll be sharing our thoughts and ideas with our readers: follow us at #floornaturelive.
We’re totally into discussing sustainable architecture so given the chance that we’ll actually meet the people we write about in person in the delightful backdrop of Venice, well, our bags are already packed and we’re ready to go!
The programme is full of events and starts on 4 June with the opening night of the exhibition “Alpitecture meets Biennale. Topographic structure”. At Palazzo Bollani, not far from the Giardini venue of the Biennale and from Piazza San Marco, we’ll be meeting world-famous architecture firms that have worked on the relationship between architecture and setting.
And of course, on June 5th as Livegreenblog there’s no way we could miss the second edition of the “Greenhouse Talks”, meetings and conversations about the key issues relating to the development of architecture.
In the afternoon, we’ll be exploring the Arsenale and the Giardini venues of the Biennale, and we’ll be live tweeting our first impressions and posting them on Facebook.
In the evening, we’ll be dropping in to get a taste of the great collateral event from Catalonia “Arquitecturas Empletadas/Grafting Architecture”.
On the 6th we’ll be back at the Giardini as well as at “Architects meet in Fuoribiennale_OFF”, organised by the AIAC in Palazzo Widmann, a series of meetings with internationally renowned architects, a reflection on architecture over the next five years.
Dates: 7 June 2014 – 23 November 2014
Location: Biennale Giardini, Arsenale, Venice (Italy)
