Laprimastanza and the Arena del Gusto The Laprimastanza collective of architects from Montiano has designed an installation for the Romagna Wine Festival in Cesena. The Arena del Gusto underscores the district’s vocation for sustainability as well as for food and wine.

A territory that lives on the products from its land also shows care for the environment. This combination has found expression in the fusion of sustainability with food and wine at the Romagna Wine Festival in Cesena.

The heart of the festival area was the Arena del Gusto, an installation created by the architects from the Laprimastanza, collective, well known to our readers (link) for their honourable mention in the first edition of the NextLandmark international architecture contest in 2012.

“Casadei Pallets”, a platform of Rilegno (the Italian consortium for collecting, recovering and recycling wooden packaging) supplied the more than 500 pallets that the collective used to design this circular space, a haven to rest in: the arena becomes a tangible expression of the importance of recycling materials, which can also be a creative and eye-catching experience.

In addition to the Laprimastanza-designed arena – symbol of the district’s green bent – all of the Romagna Wine Festival focused on favouring sustainable consumption, proving that “livegreen” is more than feasible and... full of taste!
