- inNATUR Nature Interpretation Centre Competition
The inNATUR Nature Interpretation Centre open ideas competition invites architects, designers, architecture students and others interested in the topic from around the world to submit their proposals for innovative, cutting-edge, contemporary architecture in a protected natural environment.
Participants, individuals or teams of up to five people, may choose the location of their project, including but not limited to natural parks, forests, jungles, beaches and mountains. The designs should strive to create synergies between the building and its natural surroundings, as well as promote sensitivity, awareness, understanding, enthusiasm and commitment to the natural environment.
Registration closes on Friday, November 11, 2011 and all proposals should be submitted by Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the latest. The winners will be announced in December 2011 following deliberation by the jury and prizes will be awarded in January 2012.
