Best of... interior design.
Interior design is a must to include the best of Livegreenblog, particularly when it showcases refurbishments through projects that give old industrial buildings or facilities a new lease on life.

Our first stop is in Berlin with the SAGE Restaurant. Located in an early 20th century, exposed brick industrial facility in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg. It combines the refurbishment project by Drewes+Strenge with the lighting design of Room Division, and a team backed by years of experience in food hospitality and events in Berlin.

Next on the list is the Lime Barn in Sweden. Swedish architecture firm, Skälsö Arkitekter redeveloped a building constructed in the early 1900s in a limestone quarry, near Bungenäs on the Swedish island of Gotland in the Baltic sea. This conversion and reconstruction project made no attempt to hide the industrial heart of the old building.

Fernando Hitzig and Leonardo Militello from Argentine architecture firm HM arquitectos gave the interior of  Victoria Brown, in Buenos Aires, a real showy look. This trendy bar and restaurant in an old warehouse in Palermo, the “in” spot in Buenos Aires showcases clear references to the Victorian era, but is not a historical recreation. Rather, the designers have managed to create a unique image and atmosphere.

Three examples of structures dating back to early last century that offer new content in old industrial archaeology where you can spend some leisure time in unique settings.
