On June 11 – 14 2015 Fondazione Architettura Alto Adige presents a series of architectural itineraries and routes in discovery of 40 public and private buildings in Alto Adige.

Architecture Days Alto Adige New Life for Ancient Walls

The Architecture Days are a new long-term project organised by Fondazione Architettura Alto Adige and Agenzia Alto Adige Marketing (SMG) presenting architectural routes and itineraries in discovery of buildings in Alto Adige linked by a particular theme each year.

The first edition will be held June 11 to 14 2015, featuring tours guided by architects and clients of forty works of architecture: farmsteads, hotels, wineries, castles, and public and private facilities organised into 8 different itineraries.
The title “New Life for Ancient Walls” underlines the theme uniting all the buildings that can be visited in the first edition of the event: ancient constructions that have been restored, renovated, expanded or converted for new uses. The theme already announced for the 2016 edition is architectural projects in the landscape.

A series of related initiatives will accompany the first edition of Architecture Days: congresses and tours for architecture professionals and technicians, opportunities to visit art studios in Glorenza, Lana and Bolzano; and, on June 13, a long night of architecture, an event planned in the new Salewa building designed by Cino Zucchi and Park Associati in Bolzano.
